Today we started with a cruise on the Seine River.
And of course saw many of the usual tourist sights…
Eiffel Tower
Louvre Museum
and the Conciergerie, a former courthouse and prison (which we still have not visited).
After the cruise we walked around a bit to see more bits and pieces of Paris...
and found a great Italian restaurant for lunch.
One building had a wall completely covered with a garden.
We also wandered by the Notre Dame. It is not open to the public as it is still under renovation to repair the massive damage from a fire a few years back.
After dinner we joined a walking tour that titled “Ghosts, Mysteries and Legends”. While there was a small bit of that, it was really just a walking tour around the Notre Dame area. The most notable part was when we arrived at the Hotel de Ville (City Hall). It was night time by then and the building was nicely lit.
It looked like there was a large party going on along the river.
And we had a lovely sunset.
