Aug 4 – Tea on a Bus

Our only excursion today was in the afternoon so we told Liam he could sleep as late as he liked.  About noon we decided to get him up.  Guess we have worn him out. 

We walked across town to a mall where Paul returned a non-working tracker he had purchased for tracking our luggage.  There was a food court at the mall so we decided to eat there. 

Then we headed off to the tour departure point to catch our Harry Potter Magical Wizarding Tour on a double decker bus.  Unfortunately, true to form, there was a problem and the tour company didn’t have us anywhere on their list.  And the bus was full.  However, they had another one that had room and it was leaving only a half hour later so they put us on that. 

Unfortunately, our Magical Wizarding Tour was a bust in that it wasn’t a Harry Potter tour at all but a non-guided drive around town while having tea.  

Once we figure that out we asked to be let off the bus.  Fortunately it was close to our hotel so we didn’t have far to walk.  We have had major problems with this tour provider. 

Fortunately, our tickets for tomorrow’s Military Tattoo did show up at the hotel so we are set for the one of our trip highlights.  Really looking forward to it. 

We spent the rest of the day lazing around the room, working on photos and travel stuff.  We didn’t even bother going down for dinner as our lunch was rather filling and the bits of Afternoon Tea we had on the bus filled us right up.
